John Marker
Bass / Vocals
John's music career started when he was in 7th grade, where he was asked to play string bass in the middle school orchestra. He played classical music throughout middle and high school and played in the "All Michigan Youth Symphony" which toured the country of Finland during his college years. After college, he was a full time musician from 1975 to 1986, playing bass guitar and singing for many Top 40, funk, jazz, and rock bands. In 2006, John got together on stage with Kurt Schreitmueller, musical director at Oakpointe Church in Novi, Michigan, wher he plays contemporary Christian music once a month.
John played with "Good Intentions" in May 2011 and also freelances with other jazz and funk bands in the Metro Dteroit area.
